Olakunle Churchill Unveils Apartment, Donates Land For Army Veterans' Building (Pics)

In a bid to uphold the verse in the national Anthem which states that "our heroes past will not be in vain", the Chairman of Big Church Group, Dr. Olakunle Churchill has supported the Nigerian Army Veterans ‎under the Green Heroes Foundation with a piece of land in Kuje area council during the official unveiling of their temporary apartment in Abuja recently. 

With the support of well meaning Nigerians, the Green Heroes Foundation with former Military General Ibrahim Babagida as it's patron assist Nigerian war veterans with medical counselling and treatment, reintegration, proper rehabilitation, better apartment, love and care etc. The brief ceremony marked the launching of the temporary apartment for the veterans and award presentation to Dr. Olakunle Churchill ‎for his selfless support to humanity.

As the chairman of the gathering, Churchill said it was an impressive project by Green Heroes Foundation with a suggestion that more networks of personnel should be established in other states for people to send in their support when necessary. He commended the foundation for their commitment and promised to support with media visibility and a piece of land in Kuje metropolis for the building of accommodations and apartments for the war veterans who stalked their lives to fight for the country.

However, the army veteran shared their ordeals since after the war as most of them are still homeless and abandoned including going through excruciating health challenges. They applauded Churchill's presence at a time they needed support to get back to their feet
